2019 DeMets Lecture Series

Please join the Department of Biostatistics & Medical Informatics and colleagues for the 2019 DeMets Lecture Series, featuring J. Richard Landis, PhD, on November 7 and 8.

Professor Landis will give two lectures: one technical and one non-technical.
Thursday, November 7, from 3:30-4:45, he will give a non-technical talk titled “Unraveling Mysteries of Urologic Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrom (UCPPS): A 30-year Multidisciplinary Journey” in room 1325 HSLC.

Friday, November 8, Professor Landis will deliver a technical seminar title, “Consensus Clustering Methods for Subgroup Discovery: Applications to Deep Phenotyping Data” in the Biotechnology Center Auditorium from noon to 1 pm.

Professor Landis is the Senior Vice Chair of the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
