Research: Dr. Hu has a broad interest in natural language processing and machine learning. In particular, he works on multilingual NLP, transfer learning, multimodal learning, large language models, and their applications to support healthcare and communications. His research goal is to build robust intelligent systems that evolve with environmental changes and extract information from natural language text.
